A BILL to amend article six, chapter twelve of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty, relating to continuing the West Virginia investment management
board.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article six, chapter twelve of the code of West Virginia,
one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended by
adding thereto a new section, designated section twenty, to read as
follows:
ARTICLE 6. WEST VIRGINIA INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT BOARD.
§12-6-20. Termination of board.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the West Virginia investment management board shall
continue to exist until the first day of July, one thousand nine
hundred ninety-nine.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to create a new section within
this chapter. The bill also allows for the continuation of the West
Virginia Investment Management Board until July 1, 1999, pursuant
to the provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.
